She made her debut on screen on PTV in 2001, in a play entitled Kash Mai Chirhya Hoti which was written by Noor Ul Huda Shah. The play was a huge success, and established Ayesha as one of the rising stars of the Pakistani industry. However, she gained extensive fame when she worked in the movie, Insaano Jaisay Loag, which was directed by Farooq Rind. The film was a tremendous success, and won an award in the Kara Filmfare Award
