Elsa Lila is a well-known singer. She is the artist of the classics, soon became familiar with important art events by attending the activities of her father (Edmond Lila, a prominent internationally renowned tenor). Her talent is discovered by composer Valentin Veizi during the Children’s Festival in Tirana. In 1997 she followed her father to Italy, the year in which she tragically loses and gives birth. She has dedicated a song to her mother. Then her second homeland was Italy where she is the only Albanian singer after Ana Oxa who has participated in the Festival of Songs in Italy (Sanremo Festival). Elsa Lila is very active in promoting Albanian music around the world.
Career
In December 1996, Elsa Lila participates in the 35th RTSH Festival with the song “Ask Lot” and wins the first song with the song composed by Valentin Veizi.
In December 1997, Elsa Lila participates in the 36th RTSH Festival with the song “Far Hate” and earns the first prize.
In November 1999, Elsa Lila participated in the Magic Song 1999 with the song “Only One Word”.
In 2001 he was decorated by the President of Albania with the title “Albanian Ambassador of the World in Albania”, thus becoming a citizen of the world born in Albania and realized in Italy.
Her first participation in Sanremo was performed in 2003 with the song “Valeria” and the second with the song “Il senso della vita” which was classified at the second night and was a real success.
In 2008 Elsa Lila presented for the second time the biggest artistic event of the year: Kenges Festival in Radio and Television.
