Huma Shah conceptualized and hosted Pakistan’s only LIVE daily English Language morning show, The Morning Show with Huma Amir Shah on Express 24/7. She has over 10 years experience of working with various television channels in Pakistan’s rapidly expanding electronic media. Some of her shows included Huma’s Show (AAJ TV), Aaj Subh (AAJ TV), Bol (Anchor and senior content manager) and Time to Talk (PTV World) to name a few. Huma is an IVLP (International Visitor Leadership Program) scholar , as well as a TEDx Fellow. Currently she has joined Geo Tv Network as a Morning Show Host and Producer.
Huma Amir has also been a member of the Project for Muslim Female Journalists, Deutsch Welle: DW Akademie, Berlin, Germany. She has been invited to participate in seminars and conferences all over the world including India, Nepal, Germany and USA.
Huma Amir Shah has a Masters degree in Defence & Strategic Studies from Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad, and prior to working in media, she worked as a research officer with Pakistan’s eminent think tank Islamabad Policy Research Institute (IPRI).
