Kranti Redkar is a famous actress, Singer and filmmaker of India. She works in Marathi theatre, television and movies. Kranti was born on 17 August 1982 in Mumbai. She became popular through the Marathi song “Kombdi Palali” which belongs to the film ‘Jatra”.

Career
She started her career with the Marathi film “Soon Asavi Ashi” in 2000 in which Ankush Choudhary was her co-star. Then she acted in the Hindi film of Prakash Jha “Gangaajal”(2003). She performed the role of a kidnapped girl named Apoorva in that film.
Kranti’s most popular super hit Marathi Songs is “Kombdi Palali”(2006) in which Bharat Jadhav was at her opponent. The film name was “Jatra”. Later she enacted in “Shahanpan Dega Deva”, “No Entry Pudhe Dhoka Aahey”, “Pipani”, “Karrar” etc.
She made her debut in a directorial field with the movie “KAAKAN” starring Jitendra and Urmila Kanitkar. Besides acting and directing she also sung some song such as “Lootla” from the Marathi movie “Kiran Kulkarni vs Kiran Kulkarni”. Kranti featured in the film “Rocky” in 2019.
Controversy
It is said that she was associated with the Match Fixing controversy by a TV channel in 2013. To prove herself un offending later she filed a case against the channel

She got the Golden Camera Awards for Best Director For the film “Kaakan” at NIFF(Nashik International Film festival).
In 2016 she achieved the award of Zeetalkies for the film “Murder Mestri”.
