Mani is son of the fabulous actor of Pakistan named Saqib Sheikh. Saqib Sheikh has reigned small screen for many years. Mani has a sister named Ayesha Saqib. She is also a talented actress of showbiz industry. She toiled as a child artist in some super hit drama serials of PTV channel. Mani started his showbiz career after he completed his graduation.
He got married with one the most beautiful and charming actress of Pakistan named Hira in 2008. They are parents of two sons, Muzzamil and Muddassir. Mani and Hira is one the most happily married couple from Pakistani showbiz industry.
Career:
Mani appeared in showbiz industry as a host. He hosted his first TV show “Streets”. It was the first road show of Pakistan. After that Mani hosted two other road shows “Sarrak Chap” which was aired on Geo TV and “Road Romeo” which was aired on ATV. As he is famous by his comedy so he started his acting career with the comedy serial “Sub Set Hai” which was aired on Pakistan Tele Vision (PTV).
This serial became most popular serial of that time. He got enough fame by that serial. Then he worked as comedian role indifferent comedy serials. He usually plays a small roles in comedy serials.
He has appeared in different drama serials with his wife and also with his son Muzzamil Salman including “Meri Teri Kahani” of ARY Digital. Mani is also famous for the comedy role he played in sitcom “Mr. Shamim” of Hum TV.
Mani is also one of the famous Radio Jockey of Pakistan. He did his first radio show in 2003 on Radio FM96. Hira and Mani appear as guests in many morning shows and they attend many showbiz events together. Mani has hosted many TV shows including comedy show “Mani-ism” for ARY, and he has done another interview based show “Casual” for Hum TV.
He also hosted a game show “Hero Yan Zero”. Mani has also hosted shows with his wife as a co-host such as talk show “Hum 2 Humara Show” for Hum TV and late night show “Mani’s Tonight Show” for Global TV.
In his career he has worked as a producer too. He produced the well-known comedy serial “Zerooos” for Hum TV. He produced another famous serial named “Khala Surayya” for Geo TV and in that serial his wife Hira played the leading role. The charisma of Khala Surayya is an archetypal Bihari woman, dressed up in a burqah. He has his own production house with the name “Mani Films”.
